2026 Māori Touch Tamariki Tournament
Māori Touch NZ is excited to confirm the return of our Tamariki Tournament in 2026. This two-day event caters to Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 14s, Under 16s Boys, Girls & Mixed.
Like our National Tournament, players must whakapapa Māori and represent hapū, rohe, iwi and/or takiwā. On Saturday afternoon we host Wā Whakangahau - an opportunity for competing rohe/iwi to celebrate their māoritanga by performing their waiata and haka on stage.
Taonga are awarded to each grade winner, and there is an overall kaupapa award presented to the rohe/iwi that exemplifies the spirit of what Māori Touch is all about.

Entry Fee Per Team: $400 (incl. GST)
Age Criteria: players must be under age of grade as at 31 December 2025
- U10 as at 31 Dec 2025 / Born 2016 or later
- U12 as at 31 Dec 2025 / Born 2014 or later
- U14 as at 31 Dec 2025 / Born 2012 or later
- U16 as at 31 Dec 2025 / Born 2010 or later
